Gratuitous Bertie Dog Picture: The Dog Dream

"I see you've got some major Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood moodiness going on here, lady, and kudos on that, really, but I'd like to point out that some people enjoy a picnic in nice, leafy areas like this.  So, you might like to try that.  You look a little pale, and I know eating always helps me feel better.  Hint, hint...  Ummm… you can let go of my paw anytime.  Okay?"

Well, if the presence of the super-cute, adorable Bertie-Dog doesn't cheer this lady up, there is just no hope for her...

Thanks, Shawn. The image of Bertie here is assembled from three different pictures. The first was a photo of Bertie lying down. This was rotated and manipulated into the painting. The woman's gown was broadened to support Bertie on her lap so she could "hold" his paw. His tail and back feet were taken from two different photos and added in, tucked behind the foliage.

Oh my gosh! You went to a lot of work on this installment of the Bertie-Dog Picture! Of course, I look forward to Thursdays for just this reason...thank you for taking the time to do this each week. And, honestly, I prefer the version of this picture that includes Bertie!
